Twenty-five people have been rescued in the waters of Walton County on Monday as  of the late afternoon, according to South Walton Fire Department Beach Safety  Director Gary Wise. As well as two deaths in the last two weeks due to the dangerous Rip-Tide.

All Walton County beaches are flying double red flags today due to dangerous rip  tides and treacherous conditions. This indicates that the water is closed to the  public, and any choosing not to heed the warnings will be subject to a $100  fine.
